Nice and handy for tyown centre ideal
The location on the edge of the shopping district and Stirling's old town was excellent. The public rooms, in the old school building were charming, atmospheric and relaxing at the end of the evening. Parking in the quad was convenient.
in my reservation i ask for a room with good view. in my room i can´t open the window because they are making improvements and the window had structure/scaffold if the hotel can´t guarantee quality should not accept the reservation
Dismal building, needs updating, room was clean but basic, food in the restaurant for dinner was poor, breakfast OK.How this is classed as 4 star is unbelievable
Location and room were good. Beakfast was excellent. Parking was good.
No lift to second floor. Scaffolding at my room window. View of building site from bedroom window.
Location to to Glasgow
Very central, very helpful staff.
We stayed in a better quality hotel in Lancaster the night before. The rooms there were much bigger brighter. Much better facilities with free wi-fi and about 30% cheaper. £9 for a sandwich and a not particularly nice sandwich was excessive. I will be staying elsewhere next time I visit Stirling
The hotel is a old school building which adds an additional charm to the hotel. The free car park inside the hotel was very convenient. The location was very good to explore the city centre and the Stirling castle (anyway, the city is very small, it is possible to explore it easily by walking). There is an old telescope on the top of the building, which can be visited with a hotel staff member. It is very beautiful and the view from it is stunning. We only had dinner once, but the experience was great: good food and friendly staff.
The bed was a little uncomfortable and the duvet was extremely warm. The room needs a little remodeling.
hotel receptionist very helpfull, upgraded our room to a premier one, really enjoyed the stay , hotel right next to the jail and the castle had a great time.
Excellent position in the city centre just down Stirling castle. The free car parking for customers in the courtyard is a very good deal. Very good leisure centre you can enjoy for free. There was a hen party the night I stayed at this hotel, but any noise disturbed my sleep. Highly recommended hotel, really!
Very busy restaurant at breakfast time, but it's due to hotel's success!
It was very handy for my business appointments. Parking was never a problem and the room was very comfortable.
It was difficult to connect to your wi-fi system.
Staff extremely efficient. Very welcoming.
The lack of free wi-fi in the room. This was chargeable at approximately £6.50 per hour. Free in the bar on a voucher system however. When even the local McDonalds provides free wi-fi this doesn't feel right especially as this is the premier hotel in Stirling. The pool and spa area were closed due to maintenance during the entire duration of my stay. This was a disappointment.
Very friendly comfortable and warm. Very good facilities and excellant food.
Fire alarm going off before breaqkfast
Very old with chracter, good facilities
The dinner was very good and staff very attentive
Breakfast as dishes were not replenished
